Letter of Credit (LC) & Governing Rules

This program will explain the ground rules of Letter of Credit based on UCP 600, ISBP 745, URC 522, URR 725 rules and also samples of fraud related to LC and how to identify and mitigate them. We will also discuss the usage of e-UCP and e-URC related to the current pandemic condition and how all parties mitigates their risks in the process.

After completion of this program, participants will be able to:

• Understand the concept and fundamentals of Letter of Credit and its governing rules i.e. UCP 600, ISBP 745, URC 522, and URR 725 and also the additional e-UCP ver 2.0 and e-URC ver 1.0 in order to minimize risk in the International Trade.
• Understand the samples of fraud related to LC and how to mitigate them.
