Python Frameworks: PyTorch & FastAPI

PyTorch and FastAPI are two of the most widely used Python frameworks in modern AI engineering: PyTorch for building and training models, and FastAPI for serving them as high-performance web APIs. This one-day intensive program connects the two into a single end-to-end journey: in the morning participants build and train their own model in PyTorch, and in the afternoon they deploy that same model as a live REST API with FastAPI.

The program is fully hands-on. By the end of the day, every participant has a working machine learning API they built themselves, testable live from the browser through interactive Swagger documentation, plus reusable code and a clear picture of how real ML systems are put into production.

After completion of this program, participants will be better able to:

• Understand tensors, autograd, and how neural networks learn
• Build, train, evaluate, and save a model with PyTorch
• Build a REST API with FastAPI, including input validation with Pydantic
• Deploy a trained PyTorch model as a prediction API
• Understand what it takes to bring an ML API toward production (structure, error handling, Docker awareness)
