Unmanaged AI innovations at enterprise scale can reduce the benefits targeted to be gained from implementing the innovations, and can even be detrimental to the company. Several best practices and frameworks including ISO 42001 and ISO 56001 can become reference in AI technology adoption journey.

Innovation Management System framework (based on ISO 56001) and AI Management System framework (based on ISO 42001) recognize that the organization’s needs and objectives, processes, size and structure as well as the expectations of various interested parties are important for the establishment and implementation of the management systems for AI adoption. Regardless of the adoption goal for certification or not, the framework can maximize business value due to its holistic approach.
