Program summary

The financial sector is continuing to approach and adopt sustainability standards to demonstrate the commitment over the regulation of POJK 51/2017, the transition to net zero emission (NZE), and efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is in response to the dynamics and development of national and international sustainable finance as well as answering various challenges in handling and financing climate change.

However, support for the adoption of sustainable finance in the financial industry requires dedication from upper management down to the staff level. Therefore, a key factor in accelerating sustainable finance is raising employee understanding and developing their skills in this area. As a result, every employee, regardless of position or division, needs to understand their responsibility to promote sustainable finance. We want to make sure that the responsibility for sustainable finance comes from all divisions working together, not only the ESG/Sustainability or risk divisions. At least, they can understand the scope of sustainable finance and other information that may spur them to act in their own capacity as well to expedite the sustainable finance performance in the company

After completion of this program, participants will be better able to:

  • Understanding definition of sustainable finance and ESG
  • Identifying Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Risks and materiality assements
  • Identifying and explaining sustainable financial products and services
  • Determine sustainabe finance project activities
