Problem Solving

This basic level problem solving course will teach a systematic approach to identifying the root cause of a problem, gathering relevant data, evaluating options and determining the optimal solution. Through case studies, discussions and interactive activities, participants will practice essential techniques such as 5 Why's, Fishbone Diagram, Brainstorming and others.

After attending this training program, participants are expected to be able to:

• Understand a clear and accurate problem definition
• Gather key information related to the problem
• Identify the root cause of the problem
• Create several possible solution options
• Select the optimal solution and implement it
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the selected and implemented solutions
