IATF 16949:2016 is an innovative, customer-focused standard that incorporates the specific requirements of automotive customers. TF 16949 emphasizes the development of a process-oriented quality management system that provides for continual improvement, defect prevention, and reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain. The goal is to meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively. Further developments are supported by certification bodies, auditors, suppliers of original equipment manufactures (OEM). IATF 16949:2016 is not a stand-alone quality management standard but is implemented as a complement to and related to ISO 9001:2015.   After completion of this program, participants will be better able to:
