Sustainable Finance and ESG in The Banking Industry

The financial sector is increasingly adopting sustainability standards in response to revision of POJK 51/2017, the Net Zero Emission (NZE) transition, and Indonesia's SDGs commitment. Sustainable finance responsibility must be shared across all divisions, requiring every employee to develop foundational literacy.

After completion of this program, participants will be better able to:

• Understand the definition, scope, and regulatory context of sustainable finance and ESG
• Identify Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks and conduct materiality assessments
• Identify and explain sustainable financial products and services relevant to the banking sector
• Classify bank-financed projects according to Green Taxonomy (TKBI/KKUB) criteria
